The first retail production version of the new 2025 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 recently sold for $3.7 million at the renowned Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale auction. This matches the highest bid ever for a Barrett-Jackson charity vehicle. In 2022, the 2023 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 70th Anniversary Edition brought in the same amount of money. All of the proceeds from the winning bid will go to the Red Cross for relief efforts. One of the primary goals is to assist the various communities across the country that were impacted by recent natural disasters, including floods and wildfires.

When Chevrolet committed to creating an opportunity for Historically Black College or University (HBCU) students to create content through the Discover the Unexpected (DTU) fellowship program, it intended to provide them a chance to write about the benefits of electric vehicles (EVs) and develop journalism skills.

On April 9, 2022, the first retail production Corvette Z06 for 2023 was auctioned off at the Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale Auction for $1 million. It is a significant milestone for the car and Corvette as a brand. With this new convertible, Chevrolet now has 66 different Corvette models that have been produced over the years. The proceeds from this auction will benefit the Thurgood Marshall College Fund.
