Pink Corvette Stingray Highlights the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Campaign

Although most people associate Chevrolet's ever-popular Corvette with speed and athleticism, the Corvette also now shows off its support for ending breast cancer with a bold pink color scheme. Corvette has partnered with the American Cancer Society in an effort to combat breast cancer. For the duo's 15-year collaboration, Chevrolet is debuting a bold pink Corvette for the upcoming annual NASCAR Cup Series.

Chevrolet and the American Cancer Society Combine Forces

For 15 years, Chevrolet has supported the “Making Strides Against Breast Cancer” initiative launched by the American Cancer Society. To demonstrate its ongoing support for the program, Chevrolet has designed a bold pink Corvette that will serve as the official pace vehicle for upcoming NASCAR Cup Series races at Martinsville Speedway and Talladega Superspeedway. Chevrolet's goal with introducing the pink Corvette as the official NASCAR pace vehicle is to raise awareness of the American Cancer Society's campaign and inspire fans to become involved in helping combat breast cancer. Chevrolet will also contribute to the “Making Strides Against Breast Cancer” initiative with donations. For every caution lap that the pink Corvette takes in both upcoming NASCAR races, Chevrolet will donate $500 to breast cancer awareness. The company will donate up to $25,000. Additionally, Chevrolet will also donate $1,500 for every Team Chevy driver who places in the top 10 spots in both NASCAR races. Chevrolet will donate up to $25,000 for its top-placing Team Chevy drivers in the NASCAR events.

In 2024, Chevrolet's race vehicle raised nearly $19,000 for the American Cancer Society based on the number of caution laps completed. Last year's race vehicle was recently auctioned off, with all proceeds from the sale benefiting the American Cancer Society.
