The pink Corvette was developed as a tribute to Chevrolet's partnership with the American Cancer Society, generating financial support through top driver finishes and caution-lap leads on the track.
The Chevrolet and American Cancer Society Partnership
Chevrolet's iconic pink Corvette is once again returning to compete at top raceways in the country. The pink Corvette Stingray has also been selected as the pace car for the NASCAR Cup Series races at Talladega Superspeedway and Martinsville Speedway. This year marks Chevrolet's 16th consecutive year working with the American Cancer Society in support of its “Making Strides Against Breast Cancer” campaign. Along with simply partnering on paper, Chevrolet is sincerely committed to the cause. This year, Chevrolet is expanding its donation program across five NASCAR Cup Series races: Las Vegas Motor Speedway, Charlotte Motor Speedway, Phoenix Raceway, Talladega Superspeedway, and Martinsville Speedway. For every Team Chevy driver who lands a top-10 finish at these events, Chevrolet will donate $1,500 to support “Making Strides Against Breast Cancer,” up to a total cap of $25,000 across the five-race program. Additionally, the automaker will contribute $500 for each caution lap the pink Corvette leads in the Cup Series at either Talladega Superspeedway or Martinsville Speedway, up to an additional $25,000.
While this financial endowment sounds impressive, it is within the automaker's means. In 2025, Chevrolet proudly raised over $1.7 million for the campaign. Of that amount, $32,500 was generated directly through the NASCAR campaign.
