To mark this milestone, Chevrolet is rolling out a special edition, commemorative Corvette model set to be released in the near future. When Chevrolet committed to creating an opportunity for Historically Black College or University (HBCU) students to create content through the Discover the Unexpected (DTU) fellowship program, it intended to provide them a chance to write about the benefits of electric vehicles (EVs) and develop journalism skills.

Chevrolet has unveiled a complete garage makeover for EV owners. It includes a charging station. The charging station can provide a full charge in about six hours.

On April 9, 2022, the first retail production Corvette Z06 for 2023 was auctioned off at the Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale Auction for $1 million. It is a significant milestone for the car and Corvette as a brand. With this new convertible, Chevrolet now has 66 different Corvette models that have been produced over the years. The proceeds from this auction will benefit the Thurgood Marshall College Fund.

 
Chevrolet recently announced that they are getting ready to use the Corvette C8.R race car for this year's IMSA WeatherTech Sports Car Championship in the U.S. It will also head over to the FIA World Endurance Championship, which takes place in Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. After those two races, the C8.R will head to Le Mans.
