For the 2026 model year, Chevy now equips every trim with Driver Mode Control. This feature allows you to adjust the vehicle's performance by selecting from different drive modes. Polar White Tricoat also replaces last year's Iridescent Pearl Tricoat exterior color option.

The new Equinox is offered in three trim levels: LT, RS, and ACTIV. Many drivers will love the well-equipped Equinox LT, which comes standard with some of today's hottest tech features, including an 11.3-inch touchscreen with Google built-in and an 11.0-inch digital gauge cluster. The entry-level LT trim also has heated front seats.

Under the hood rests a lively 1.5-liter, turbo four-cylinder engine. It's rated to develop 175 horsepower and 203 lb-ft of torque. While front-wheel drive versions of the SUV feature a continuously variable automatic transmission, trims fitted with an all-wheel drive system use an eight-speed automatic transmission. When properly equipped, the Equinox can tow up to 1,500 pounds.
