What's New for the 2025 Chevrolet Traverse?

There are a couple of major changes for the 2025 model year as the LT trim replaces the LS trim as the Traverse's new base model. You'll also notice that OnStar Remote Services are no longer offered for free. The LT trim now comes with a standard trailer package, while wheels now come with a 22-inch design.

In addition to the LT, the Traverse comes in Z71, High Country, and RS versions. With the trailer package, the Traverse can tow up to 5,000 pounds and has a hitch view option, making monitoring your load easier.

How Much Horsepower Does the 2025 Traverse Have?

The Traverse has a 2.5L engine that can create up to 328 horsepower at 5,500 revolutions per minute (RPMs). It also has an automatic transmission with an all-wheel drive (AWD) mode that can be turned on and off depending on your needs. Turning this feature on can give you greater traction during periods of wet or icy conditions.

What Safety Features Does the 2025 Traverse Include?
