What's New for the 2025 Chevrolet Silverado EV?

The Silverado EV is an all-electric pickup truck with many appealing features. This year's Silverado EV features an expanded lineup with the addition of a new base trim level and a new trim called the RST Extended Range, which is a mid-level pick in the lineup. The Silverado EV also carries over its signature features from last year, including a respectable range, plenty of power, a versatile truck bed and tailgate configuration, and a cabin equipped with the latest technology and driver assist safety aids.

What Are the 2025 Silverado EV Trims & Features?

The base model of the 2025 Silverado EV is called the LT Extended Range. This base model is new to the lineup in 2025. It has plenty of features, including standard side steps and 18-inch wheels. In addition to the standard truck bed, the LT Extended Range adds a front trunk for more storage space, and the front trunk is power-operated for convenience. The base trim has standard heated side mirrors that are power-folding and a standard trailer brake controller for safety. The base model features Chevrolet's signature Multi-Flex tailgate for versatility and practical use. The base model has many creature comforts, including a heated steering wheel, heated seats, ventilated front seats, ambient cabin lighting, charging outlets, and dual-zone climate control. Standard technology includes a wireless charging pad, a digital instrument display, a Bose sound system, and a 17.7-inch infotainment display screen with Google-based technology.

The next trim, also new to the lineup, is the RST Extended Range. This trim shares all the same features as the top trim, the RST Max Range. Both models upgrade to 24-inch wheels and an adaptive suspension system. They also have a panoramic glass roof and sport steering wheel.

How Much Horsepower Does the 2025 Silverado EV Have?

The base trim gets up to 645 horsepower and 765 pound-feet of torque. The mid-level trim has the same horsepower but 785 pound-feet of torque. The top model reaches 760 horsepower and 785 pound-feet of torque. All-wheel drive is standard, and all trims have a dual electric motor configuration. The Silverado EV has an EPA-estimated range of 408 miles.
