What's New for the 2025 Chevrolet Colorado?
All trims for the 2025 model year now come standard with the Colorado's more potent TurboMax powertrain. Chevy offers a new Midnight Edition model for drivers who desire a blacked-out look. Reef Blue Metallic and Sunrise Orange are the lineup's new paint colors. Meanwhile, an upgraded equipment list makes the entry-level WT trim even more appealing. Newly standard features include a sliding rear window, a rear defroster, and cruise control.
What Are the 2025 Colorado Trims & Features?
Chevy offers the new Colorado in five trim grades: WT, LT, Trail Boss, Z71, and ZR2. If you need a robust work truck for the everyday grind, look no further than the Colorado WT. Black bumpers and basic 17-inch steel wheels highlight its tough-nosed character. However, you'll still enjoy an array of modern features. A digital gauge cluster, an 11.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone integration, and push-button start all come standard.
The LT trim is loaded with more conveniences. Some of its upgrades include a remote-locking tailgate, keyless entry, and a front center console.
Off-road enthusiasts should strongly consider the adventurous Colorado Trail Boss. Rugged features, such as an automatic locking rear differential and a 2.0-inch suspension lift, prepare you to face tough terrain. Blacked-out styling elements also give the Trail Boss trim a powerful look.
While the Colorado Z71 isn't quite as aggressive as the Trail Boss trim, it's still more than capable of tackling the rough backcountry. Some of its rugged hardware includes skid plates, an off-road suspension, and all-terrain tires. This trim also gives you access to some luxurious amenities, including ventilated front seats.
The mighty Colorado ZR2 is the top model in terms of off-road prowess. Special features include front/rear locking differentials, multimatic DSSV dampers, and a 3.0-inch suspension lift.

How Much Horsepower Does the 2025 Colorado Have?
The Colorado's TurboMax engine develops a muscular 310 horsepower and 430 lb-ft of torque. An eight-speed automatic transmission ensures smooth power delivery. The Colorado offers quick acceleration and packs enough brawn to tow up to 7,700 pounds.
What Safety Features Does the 2025 Colorado Include?
Standard Chevy Safety Assist equips this Colorado model with several advanced technologies, including Forward Collision Alert and Front Pedestrian Braking.
