While its cargo version excels in utility, the passenger van variant can comfortably accommodate up to 15 passengers. The base infotainment system comprises a basic AM/FM stereo with two front speakers and an auxiliary jack. Additional features such as SiriusXM satellite radio and a USB port are available as options. Standard equipment includes OnStar hardware, which consists of a complimentary three-month trial of Safety and Security and Remote Driver Access functionalities.

The 2024 Chevrolet Express comes standard with a proven 4.3-liter V6 engine. It develops 276 horsepower and 298 lb-ft of torque. This engine is paired with a new eight-speed automatic transmission, which further improves performance. An even stronger 6.6-liter V8 engine is available as an option on the Express Passenger Van models. Chevy tunes it to produce 401 horsepower and 464 lb-ft of torque. Max towing capacity increases to a stout 9,600 pounds.
