What's New for the 2024 Chevrolet Colorado?

The 2024 Chevrolet Colorado truck is designed to check things off the to-do list. After a complete redesign last year, the Colorado will get an exciting off-road-oriented addition in 2024. Known as the ZR2 Bison, this version of the Colorado gives drivers 35-inch mud-terrain tires. The Colorado ZR2 Bison has a wider track and larger wheel arches to accommodate these.

Next is the ZR2, home to 33-inch all-terrain tires, a trailer hitch, a trailer brake controller, and a spray-on bedliner. It also adds luxuries like heated front seats and a remote start. The new ZR2 Bison boasts an impressive 12.2 inches of ground clearance, plus 35-inch tires and a heavy-duty front bumper.

How Much Horsepower Does the 2024 Colorado Have?

As its standard engine, the 2024 Colorado has a turbocharged 2.7L four-cylinder that works smoothly with an eight-speed automatic transmission. The output depends on the Colorado version, with the WT and LT models making 237 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque and the remaining trims producing 310 horsepower and 430 lb-ft of torque. Depending on the model and options, the 2024 Colorado has a maximum towing capacity of 7,700 pounds.
