What's New for the 2023 Chevrolet Suburban?

The popular Chevrolet Suburban sees a few changes to make it even better in 2023. This three-row SUV is now available in Sterling Gray Metallic, Silver Sage Metallic, and Radiant Red Tintcoat. Buyers also have a new blacked-out grille to consider when choosing the 2023 Suburban that matches their style. Choosing the Premier or High Country trim levels will now allow drivers to add Super Cruise, an advanced hands-free driving system.

There are a total of six trim levels available for the 2023 Chevrolet Suburban. The entry-level LS has upscale features such as tri-zone automatic climate control and power-adjustable front seats. Stepping up to the LT means gaining wireless device charging and a hands-free power liftgate. As for the Suburban RST, it comes standard with stunning 22-inch wheels and gets unique seats with contrast stitching.

Those after a few extra off-road features should check out the Z71. It has all-terrain tires, tow hooks, a front skid plate, and more. The Suburban Premier is given ventilated front seats and a Bose sound system, and the High Country tops things off with a digital rearview mirror and a unique grille with bronze accents.

How Much Horsepower Does the 2023 Suburban Have?

As its standard engine, the 2023 Suburban has a 5.3L V8 that makes 355 horsepower along with 383 lb-ft of torque. Select trim levels are also available with a 6.2L V8 that makes 420 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque. This is the standard powertrain for the top High Country. Most Suburban models are also available with a turbo 3.0L diesel engine that creates 277 horsepower as well as 460 lb-ft of torque. Each of these engines is paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission.

Each of the Suburban trim levels also comes standard with a variety of high-tech safety features. This SUV has lane departure warning, forward-collision mitigation, and parking sensors. Top trim levels are also given things like blind-spot monitoring and a head-up display.
